Volunteer Day

Restoring Forest Park with Hands on Greater Portland.

Today, our team stepped out of crawlspaces and into the heart of nature as we joined Hands On Greater Portland for a Forest Park restoration volunteer event. Forest Park is one of Portland’s most iconic natural spaces, and getting the chance to support its long-term health was something we were proud to be part of.

Digging In for a Healthier Forest

Equipped with gloves, shovels, and plenty of energy, our crew spent the morning planting native plants throughout restoration zones in Forest Park. These native species play a critical role in the park’s ecosystem by:

  • Supporting habitat for local wildlife
  • Improving soil stability
  • Helping reduce invasive species spread
  • Preserving the natural beauty and diversity of Forest Park

Every plant we put into the ground today was a small but meaningful investment in the future of one of the largest urban forests in the country.

Why Giving Back Matters to Us

At our core, we’re dedicated to protecting homes — but we also care deeply about protecting the environment around them. Volunteering in Forest Park was a refreshing reminder of how interconnected our work is with the natural world. The cleaner, healthier, and more vibrant our community spaces are, the better it is for everyone who calls the PNW home.
